Plasterboard, also known as drywall or gypsum board, is a widely used building material that consists of a gypsum plaster core wrapped in paper or other types of material. 1. Fire resistance
Since gypsum itself is a fire resistant material, gypsum board can also be fire resistant for four hours. The reason for this is the presence of water in the composition of gypsum. When it comes in contact with fire, the water begins to evaporate. This helps the drywall to form a protective layer that prevents the fire from spreading for a certain period of time.
2. Non-combustible
When gypsum board comes in contact with fire, a process called calcination begins. During the calcination process, the board dries out and forms an additional layer. This makes the wall non-combustible within a few hours and always keeps the wall at room temperature.
3.Damp Proof / Waterproof Gypsum Board
The green type consists mainly of construction gypsum with the appropriate amount of reinforcing fibers and water-resistant additives.
Suitable for damp and semi-open rooms, with a surface suitable for tiling.

4. Acoustic properties
